Tour via Lake Sary-Chelek

It’s impossible to describe the beauty of the mountain Lake Sary-Chelek ....Seeing is believing!

Because of the fallen leaves in autumn the lake seems yellow and resembles a bucket with honey. In summer, the water in the lake is of magnificent emerald green color! We’ll visit the famous valley of relict walnut forests – Arslanbob, that is well-known for having unique nature landscapes and beautiful waterfalls!

Day 1.Bishkek - Cholpon-Ata

Day 1. Bishkek - Cholpon-Ata

Meeting at the “Manas” Airport. Breakfast at the café (national cuisine). On the way to Lake Issyk-Kul – a visit to Burana Tower, which symbolizes ancient remnants of Balasagun town, situated in Karakhanid khaganate. For extreme lovers –a possibility to ride down the mountain river on inflatable boats (rafting). Lunch at the café. In Cholpon-Ata we’ll see ancient rock carvings (petroglyphs, 2000 BC – 4-th century AD), situated in the open-air museum.Accommodation in the hotel. Dinner.Night.

Day 2.Cholpon-Ata – Karakol

After breakfast a trip to Karakol.On the way – a visit to unique beautiful Grigorievskoe and Semenovskoe gorges. Bathing in “Tash-Suu” thermal mineral springs. Lunch. In Karakol town we’re going to visit Przhevalsky Museum.Accommodation in the hotel. Dinner.Night.

Day 3.Karakol–Kochkorka

Breakfast.  A trip to“Seven Bulls”, located in Dzheti-Oguz gorge. The gorge is well-known for its green meadows and red sand rocks. Another famous rock in this region is a “Broken Heart”. It’s a place of pilgrimage for pairs of sweethearts.On the way – lunch at the café. Arrival in Kochkorka village. There we’ll see a show of weaving a small felt carpet. You can also take part in the process of weaving and make a carpet of your own. Dinner and night at the guest house.

Day 4.Kochkorka – Kazarman

Breakfast. A way to the old town Naryn – through picturesque passes. Lunchatthecafé.ArrivalatKazarmanvillage.Introduction to local sightseeings. Dinner and night at the guest house.

Day 5.Kazarman–Arslanbob

Breakfast. A trip to the Arslanbob gorge which is situated in the south of Kyrgyzstan. Arslanbob is famous for its relict walnut forests. Many tourists come here to admire beautiful nature and spectacular waterfalls. Near the waterfall there’s a small grotto “A cave of forty angels”. According to the legend a saintly woman lived there. People came to her for help and spiritual support. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the guest house.

Day 6.Arslanbob

All day you enjoy the beauty of the reserve, relax in the fresh mountain air. By the way, in Soviet times, Arslanbob was one of the most beautiful resorts of the USSR!

On this day, you can talk to, and make beautiful pictures and videos.

Day 7.Arslanbob – Sary-Chelek

After breakfast we’ll head for Lake Sary-Chelek, which is located in a conservation area high in the mountains. The lake’s name is translated from Kyrgyz as "yellow vessel." Indeed, because of the fallen leaves in autumn, the lake seems to be yellow and reminds a bucket with honey. In summer, the water in the lake has a magnificent emerald color! Lunch in the small town of Tash-Kumyr. The road to the lake passes through the winding switchbacks and passes. By the evening arrival in Arslanbob. Dinner. Night in tents on the shore of the lake or in the guest house.

Day 8. Sary-Chelek-Chichkan

After breakfast - boating or horseback riding. After lunch a trip tothe Chichkan gorge. Upon our arrival check-in at the hotel complex. You can spend your free time before dinner, either in theChichkannatural reserve or walk along the banks of a mountain stream.

Day 9. Chichkan – Bishkek

After breakfast we’ll head for the capital of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek. Our way will pass among picturesque canyons and gorges of the Tien-Shan mountains. We’re going to pass two passes, one of which is very impressive! This is the Too-Ashu Pass (3586 m). On the way - lunch at the cafe (national cuisine). By the evening arrival in Bishkek. Visit to the oriental bazaar, buying souvenirs. Farewell dinner and transfer to the “Manas”Airport.

Day 10.Bishkek – Departure

The climate in Kyrgyzstan is sharply continental, and throughout the day the temperature in the mountains can range from + 30 up to -15 degrees, that’s why we recommend the tourists to have warm shoes, warm clothing, sunscreen and sunglasses with them, as well as individual sleeping bags (in case of staying for night in tents).
