Thanks to its natural characteristics, Kyrgyzstan suites very well for the following types of tourism, such as: fishing, mountain climbing, trekking, hunting and others. Since the wildlife of Kyrgyzstan is very diverse, a lot of foreign tourists come here for hunting.

From year to year hunting in Kyrgyzstan becomes more and more popular among tourists.

The interest of foreign tourists is attracted to obtaining a part of hunting trophies of such wild animals as: deer, ibex, Marco Polo.

Also the hunting for foxes, wolves, hares, pheasants , chukars and snowcocks is held.

Hunting grounds can be found in all regions of the country.

Issyk-Kul region has the following hunting grounds - Semiz Bel , Dry Ridge and Cholponbek . The following grounds are situated in Naryn region : Kochkor , Chyrmashev and Besh- Bala . Osh region includes such grounds as Kashka-Suu and Kok- Suu. Chui has the following grounds: Shamsi Jarly Kaiyndy and Belem - Teke . And Talas region owns such lands as Kara -Bura and Kusushtak .

Hunting is carried out in the mountains at an altitude of 3000-4000 meters above the sea level. Hunting season usually starts approximately in September in all regions of the country and lasts until February, depending on the type of hunting.

Hunting in Kyrgyzstan - is a licensed and legal activity. All hunters must obtain a special permit for hunting.
